I have mentioned that Andrew is coming back to Oz this August. I will be in Sydney & I want to encourage all our youth leaders/worker etc to attend and bring your Minister/gatekeepers.  Dr Andrew Root from Luther Seminary in St Paul, Minnesota, will be in Australia again in August 2012. Andrew will be in Perth 25-26 August, and then in Sydney 28-31 August at the UCA National In-Service event for people in ministry with children, youth & families. The event will be hosted in conjunction with the annual Seminar Week at the Centre for Ministry, North Parramatta.

Andrew teaches within the Center for First Third Ministry, and is a prolific author and speaker. He is associate professor of youth and family ministry . He has worked in congregations, para-church ministries and social service programs.  He lives in St. Paul with his wife Kara, two children (Owen and Maisy), and their two dogs (Kirby and Kimmel).  When not reading, writing, or teaching Andy spends far too much time watching TV and movies.
