To Whom it Concerns
I’m a student at the University of the Sunshine Coast sudying health promotion. This year is my last year and I have to arrange a place to do workplacement for my last semester of 2008. I’m not sure if this is the right place to ask, but are there any projects related to health promotion running in Vanuatu that I could get involved as part of my workplacement. I will be doing a “round the world trip” in the middle of this year to visit missions mainly in Africa, and my last stop before Australia is Vanuatu. If there are some projects that I could get involved in over there throughout the second half of 2008, please let me know. I have had a year’s overseas expereince in Uganda and am involved with a sponsorship programme over there. I also have a TESOL qualification along with 6 months of teaching ESL on the Sunshine Coast.

Hi Pamela
I guess here is as good as any blog
I do know of a few people involved or connected to projects in Vanuatu. I will send them an email with your post/request/info.
Hello Pamela,
I,m sorry I can’t help you with the information you are requiring, but I noticed that you have done the Tesol course. I have been thinking of doing the same course and wanting to know if it is really benifical in getting work overseas. With today you have to be so careful with all the scams going on.
I would appreciate your feed back on the course.
Good luck in your endevours and safe tripping.
Regards denise
Hello,
My husband and I are interested in coming over from South Australia to Vanuatu and teaching.
My husband is a full time middle school and high school teacher specialising in PE and Science. He has been out teaching for two years full time.
I will finish my degree at the end of next year and I will be a junior primary and primary teacher (R-7). As my degree is a double degree, I am also majoring in English and Sociology. My specialist teaching areas are English and Society and Environment.
We were wondering if someone would be able to provide us with some information about teaching in Vanuatu, contacts, and the viability of our plan of teaching in Vanuatu 2010 onwards.
We would plan to stay in Vantuatu for quite some time.
Sincerely,
Yolande Board
