Help & Assistance: Workplace and Social Security
Through its public advocacy work, the Justice & International Mission Unit (part of the Uniting Church in Victoria and Tasmania) is aware of church and community members raising individual issues with regard to industrial relations and social security laws. It is important for you (and friends and family) to know where assistance is available. Don’t assume that exploitative behaviour by an employer is legal, or that a Centrelink decision cannot be challenged.
